1. Trekking to Hanumangarh

Duration:1 Night 2 Days
Summary:A wonderful trip including Camping and Trekking, Paragliding in the Bir Billing valley

 

Day 01 : Meeting point in Bir

Bir is well known for its Buddhist monasteries and Tibetan settlement, not forgetting the Tibetan culture and handicrafts. One of the best aero sport sites in the world and India. Billing is 14 km away from Bir. With the mountain ranges serving as an amphitheatre. Bir-Billing offer great opportunities for high altitude and cross-country flying for a stretch that extends to 200 Kilometers. Surrounded by tea gardens and an amphitheater of low hills, is an ideal landing around for para-gliders. Bir has Buddhist Monasteries that are worth visiting. Fine Tibetan handi craft are also produced here. Palampur is 29 km and Baijnath is 13 km from Bir.

Trek starts from Bari village through the forests.it is a good trek with mountains ways, green trees. Trek passes form sidha Ra Fat valley. In evening time with a great sunset trek reach at Hanumangarh.

Trekking to Hanumangarh

 

Hanumann Garh is ancient pilgrims place. Spectacular view of Dhouladhar range 3500-4000 mtrs snow covered peaks. Night camp in Hanumann Gar

 

Day 02 :Trek to Billing 2 hours

Billing is the world famous place for Paragliding. You can enjoy Joy riding 20- 30 minute with Tandem flight.

2. Trekking to Kullu via Sari Pass

Season: May to Oct.
Grade : Moderate

Duration:7 Nights / 8 Days
Summary:An 8 days trek from Bir to Kullu valley via the Sari pass and Billing valley.

 

Day 01: Delhi to Bir

Bir to Billing - 2600mts, 2-3 hrs trek.
This trek is through mixed forest. Billing is internationally renowned for conducting Para and Hang gliding competitions. The mountains are rich with vegetable and provide complete green cover to this region.

 

Day 02: Billing to Kothi - Kohar, 6-7 hrs trek.

It is down the hill walk amidst thick forest mixed variety. Kothi - Kohar is a small village in Chhota Bangal valley. The occupation of the people is farming in small terraced fields.

 

Day 03: Kothi - Kohar to Barot, 6-7 hrs. trek.

An easy downward walking trail follows amidst forest crossing Ruhlling River at one or two laces.

 

Day 04: Barot to Lohardi -1990 mts, 2-3 hrs. trek.

Barot is a small village located on both sides of Lamdug River. The scenic grander of Lohardi to some extent resembles to that of Manali. On both sides are high hills with thick forest, below in the valley are orchards. This area presents a very rugged beauty and has un-explored treks unvisited. It is a trekker’s paradise and one finds oneself completely lost in admiring the natural beauty all around.

 

Trekking to Kullu via Sari Pass

 

Day 05: Lohardi to Lahesh - 3200 mts, 6-7 hrs. trek

This trek is visited by shepherds and trekkers frequently to cross over Sari Pass. It is a well-defined trek which follow through forested ridges along the Lohard nallah.

 

Day 06: Lahesh to Teun village - 2700 mts, 8-9 hrs.

It is hardest day of the trek as the climbs steep to croos Sari pass (3760mts). Sari pass is not very high and has green meadows on top of it shepherds with their flocks of sheep and goats stay for a long time during the summer. Teun is a very primitive village of Rajput families.

 

Day 07: Teun to Naghol - 2700 mts, 4-5 hrs. trek

The trek passes through many small villages all along the Sari nallah.

 

Day 08: Naghol to Kullu, 3-4 hrs trek.

An easy trail decends along the Sari nallah. The beauty of valley is incomparable. The Sari nallah meanders between the valley and finally mingles with Beas river at Kullu.

 

Trek ends.

3. Trek to Manali via Thamsar Pass

Region: Kangra Bir Billing Valley, Chamba valley and Kullu valley
Duration: 12 days
Trek Grade: Moderately Tough

Duration:11 Nights / 12 Days
Summary:A 12 days advance level trek covering Kangra, Chamba and Kullu valley to Manali over Thamsar pass

 

Day 01: Bir to Billing

Trek starts from Bir to Billing, 4hrs walk. The trek is of moderate ascent. It is known as one of the best placing for paragliding. It gives most scenic panorama of the Shivalik ranges.

 

Day 02: Billing to Raj Gunda, 6 hrs

Trek goes to the north of billing along spur above the uhl river with easy walk. There are potato farms in this village.

 

Day 03: Raj gunda to Pani Hardu (3693mts) 6 hrs

This trek is moderate ascent.

 

Day 04: Pani Hardu to Marhu (3900mts) over Thamsar pass (4665mts), 10-12 hrs.

This trek is weary and it involves climbing. A beautiful small glacial lake can be seen on this trek. The pass is surrounded by snow and pass also shares two different valley (Kangra & Ravi valley). From here trail descends to the vast of snow towards north. The trekkers and gaddis camp at this place and make an early starts to cross Thamsar pass.

 

Day05: Mahru to Bara Bhangal (2540mts), 5 hrs.

It is downhill trek to Bara Bhangal which is situated above the attraction for trekkers, mountaineers, nature lovers and anthropologist who thrive to feel and experience the lives of local tribes who live there in complete isolation untouched from the outer world in their own traditional ways.

 

Trek to Manali via Thamsar Pass

 

Day 06: Rest day.

 

Day 07: Bara Bhangal to Sukha Parav (2990mts), 5-6 hrs.

This trek passes through forests. Streams and meadering rills involving many ups and down. This is a scenic feast with panorama of peaks all around.

 

Day 08: Sukha pass to Lama Rarav (3150mts), 4-5 hrs.

This is an easy gradual trek with moderate ascents.

 

Day 09: Lama pass to Gwari (3780mts), 5-6hrs.

The trek which rises steeply arduous climb up to the camping ground. Gwari is situated at the foot hill of Kalihin pass when the Kalihin river originates and joins the Ravi near Bara Bhangal.

 

Day10: Gwari to Sanghor (3600mts), 10-12 hrs. Over Kahilin pass.

This is very tiring trek. The climb becomes stiff before the pass but then rewarded adequately for ones efforts by fascinating view of the mountains of Greater Himalayas as seen from the pass. One needs balance and self control while descending.

 

Day11: Sanghor to Sangchur (288mts), 6-7 hrs.

This trek passes through many ridges and crosses through couple of streams on its way to Sangchur.

 

Day 12: Sangchur to Manali (2050mts), 6-7 hrs.

This is comparatively easy trail can be covered n 2-3 hrs. The trek descends through many villages of Kullu Vally.

4. Hot Spring Trek

Duration:1 Night / 2 Days
Summary:Trek to Tatapani via Brahan Village

 

  • Day 01: Arrival at Bir transfer to hotel for fresh.After Breakfast we proceed to Tatapani trek from vill Bari to via Brahan Village trek we will reach in Tatapani.Overnight stay at Tatapni in the tent & stone cave.
  • Day 02: Early morning enjoy bath with natural hot spring water in Tatapni.After Breakfast back to village kanarthu by wild trek and Bir by Jeep.
